The official website of the anime Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, based on the spin-off manga of Kazuma Kamachi and Arata Yamaji, revealed a new promotional image. The series will premiere in July and will be broadcast on TV channels AT-X, Tokyo MX, MBS and BS11.

Nobuharu Kamanaka (Big Order) directs anime production at the JC Staff studio. While Kenji Sugihara (Clockwork Planet) is in charge of the composition of the series, Yohei Yaegashi (Tsūjō Kōgeki ga Zentai Kōgeki by Ni-kai Kōgeki no Okā-san wa Suki desu ka?) Designs the characters, Jin Aketagawa (Anohana) is director of sound, and Maiko Iuchi (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) will return from previous animes of the franchise to compose the music.
The musical group The Sixth Lie (Golden Kamuy) will perform the opening song and the group sajou no hana (Sirius the Jaeger) will perform the ending song.

The anime will be played by Nobuhiko Okamoto (Hikaru in Asahina Brothers Conflict) and Accelerator and Rina Hidaka (Ririchiyo Shirakiin in Inu x Boku SS) and Last Order.

Kazuma Kamachi (history) and Arata Yamaji (art) published the manga spin-off Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator for the first time on December 27, 2013 in the magazine Gekkan Comic Dengeki Daioh of Kadokawa.
The series of light novels by Kazuma Kamachi has inspired two anime series, a movie in 2013 and multiple adaptations to manga. A manga derived from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun has also had adaptations to anime and an OVA.
Synopsis
The academy city expectations are classified into six levels, those of "Level 0" are weak and lack power but those belonging to "Level 5" have great power and overwhelming capacity.
Of the several million Espers residing in the city, only seven of them have reached level 5, and the highest of them is the well-known Accelerator, the protagonist of the story.
Accelerator has led a relatively quiet life until he is drawn into a new conflict because of the plans of the sinister Disciplinary Action organization that plans to use Last Order for a dangerous mission. So now that they have implemented their plan, the security of Last Order and Academy City will depend on the most powerful esper in the world.
