Planetarian Snow Globe Delayed Due to COVID-19

 

Visual Art's / Key company's official website announced that the new OVA «Planetarian Snow Globe« was delayed. The OVA is now scheduled for January 2021 and the delay is due to COVID-19 affecting the production of the OVA.

The new OVA will feature a prequel to "Snow Globe," a first OVA that debuted as part of a lightweight novelty volume that was included in the limited edition version of the original PC game.

Staff members:

Jin Tamamura (Kōtetsu no Vendetta) is directing the planned OVA at Okuru studio to Noboru.

Shogo Yasukawa (Shokugeki no Souma) returns to handle series composition and script.

Hitomi Takechi (Hyperdimension Neptunia) also returns to take charge of designing the characters.

Visual Art's / Key (Clannad, Rewrite, Angel Beats!) Originally released the visual novel game titled "Planetarian ~ the reverie of a little planet" in Japan for PC in 2004, before later porting it to the PlayStation 2 console. The Sekai Project licensed the PC version of the game and released it on Steam. 

Game developer Prototype recently released a version of the game for the Nintendo Switch console on January 31.

Synopsis:

The game's story takes place 30 years after a world war stopped space development. The protagonist, simply known as "the garbage hunter", attempts to restore a planetarium project after encountering a robot.
