XSEED announced yesterday that it will release the remake of Corpse Party for Nintendo 3DS in North America, and with it came the first concerns about the fans. Since XSEED have left a couple of answers on the issue to reassure consumers expecting done with the game.
Nintendo 3DS version has no voices, right?
Wrong! The 3DS version has voices in full, using exactly the same Japanese voices PSP version. I think the origin of this rumor may have been the extra four chapters of the 3DS version, created specifically for her. These four additional chapters do not have voices except those flashbacks to other parts of the game, but the rest yes, without missing a single voice file version PSP.
Nintendo 3DS version will be censored, right?
Do not! All versions of Corpse Party launched by XSEED Games are offered without removing or altering any content (except for small details that we had to change for legal reasons, as the classic tone of a Nokia phone). The ESRB rating M exists for something, and our Corpse Party for 3DS already has.
Nintendo 3DS version is a remake of the game released for PSP 2011 with new more resolution redrawn sprites, music tracks with arrangements and 3D images. We add an extra four chapters of this exclusive version that delve into some characters and story points that remained unexplained.
The launch is scheduled for summer at a price of $ 29.99 in digital format and $ 49.99 in limited physical edition called "Back to School Edition" including miniature figurines Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara, and a CD with 80 minutes of music of the game that were not collected in the compilation "Songs of the Dead", including three exclusive music tracks from this release.
