The June issue of Shueisha Ribon magazine has announced that the animated television adaptation of the manga Tsubasa Hotaru no Nana Haruta receive more episodes this month.
New episodes will be broadcast on 10, 17 and 24 May in the Oha Suta-TV program in Tokyo. Kanae Ito and Takahiro Sakurai Yoshitsugu Matsuoka reprise their roles as Tsubasa Sonokawa, Aki Hidaka and Yuma Toba respectively.
The first animated adaptation of the manga was a special that was shown at the 2014 Festa Ribon, adding three new episodes last marz.
The story revolves around Tsubasa Sonokawa, a high school girl of 15 who falls in love with an older boy from his school when the rescue saves when faints for anemia in a train station. The girl thought to have been fated, and is dedicated to visit your class daily. However, the boy tells him what the girl feels is too big, and rejects it. After replacing her friend Yuri as manager of the basketball team he reconnects with the boy, and discovers that there may have more in common with this guy, Aki, what she thought at first instance.
