The official Twitter account of anime Dragon Ball Super leaves a promotional image of the new anime arc, which will begin on June 12: the "Future Trunks Arc". This arc will begin with the episode "An SOS from the future! The new enemy is revealed Black ". And his synopsis is as follows:

The story starts in a future free from domination and androids, when suddenly an enemy called "Black" and Trunks tries to defend himself appears. Unfortunately, Trunks can not beat his rival in strength even in his Super Saiyan. Bulma decides to build a time machine to ask for help from Goku and Vegeta the past, but after half a year has only get enough fuel to make a one-way trip to the past. That's when Black appears to Bulma and Trunks.

The author of the original manga, Akira Toriyama, is responsible for the story and the character designs of the new arc, including the design of Trunks.

Toriyama had previously commented that the new enemy called "Goku Black". It also revealed that the arc will feature both the Gods of Destruction as the Supreme Kai.

Super Dragon Ball premiered last July 5 in Fuji TV and other channels.
