The Chiruran Nibun no Ichi anime will be released on January 10 and reveals its equipment and cast

The official website of the animated television adaptation of the manga Chiruran Nibun no Ichi by Shinya Umemura and Eiji Hashimoto, spinoff of his manga Chiruran: Shinsengumi Chinkon-ka, has revealed what will be his cast, team and that the series will be released on 10 January in Tokyo MX at 1:00 p.m. The series will be on air for three months.

Fumie Moroi will direct the anime under LandQ Studios, being Mutsuaki Murata (key animator in Love Live!) Who designs the characters. Mieko Ichihara (Maken-ki!) Is in charge of artistic direction, and Tomomi Murakami (The IDOLM @ STER Cinderella Girls) is in charge of color. Toshitaka Kanda (Maoyu) is the cinematographer, while Kashiko Kimura (Paranoia Agent) is responsible for editing.


In the beginning of a new era, Kyoto was in chaos. Several factions faced different purposes, and faced with the clash of ideals, many resorted to violence to impose their points of view. To recover the peace in the streets of Kyoto formed the Shinsengumi, the supposed guardians of the peace. A select group of passionate young people on a mission to save Kyoto and prove its worth. This is a story of young mercenary samurai who lived and died by the sword in a turbulent period of political upheavals. For them, the value of a man is measured by how he dies.

Umemura is in charge of the story of Chiruran: Shinsengumi Chinkon-ka, while Hashimoto is responsible for drawing. The duo launched the manga in the inaugural number of the Monthly Comic Zenon of Tokuma Shoten in the year 2010. In May the comic spinoff Chiruran Nibun no Ichi was launched.
