The official website of Champion RED magazine by Akita Shoten has revealed that the manga Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho by Chimaki Kuori will have animated adaptation, although at the moment it has not revealed what will be its format.

 The manga is developed just after the Arch of the Sanctuary of the original work of Masami Kurumada, before the Arch of Poseidon. Of course, where the original manga followed Seiya and her companions, here is a protagonist called Sho who fights to protect Athena.

 The manga was launched on the pages of the Champion RED in 2013, and Akita Shoten will release its ninth volume on December 20.
