The film Popin Q shows its first 16 minutes in video

The official website of the original animated film Popin Q of Toei Animation has shown a video with the first 16 minutes of the film. This film commemorates the 60th anniversary of the studio and premiered on December 23 in Japanese cinemas.

The protagonists are five high school girls worried about their daily lives the day before the graduation ceremony. The five will find themselves in a fantasy world to which they will arrive after a certain incident, and where they will discover the serious crisis that passes that world. The only way to save the world will be for the five to collaborate and unite their hearts in one dance. However, girls do not come to love the world and are not able to trust each other so suddenly, so that they are unable to unite. The time limit is approaching and they are not ready. Can the five girls save the world? Will they be able to graduate?

Naoki Miyahara is the project director, while Kouhaku Kuroboshi has designed the original characters. Takayuki Uragami adapted the character designs to the anime and is the chief animation director.
