The possibility of a sequel to the Oban Star-Racers anime

Thomas Romain, co-creator of Basquash !, commented recently that he is "seriously considering" working on a sequel or spinofff of the Oban Star-Racers anime. Savin Yeatman-Eiffel, co-director of the original anime, hung the conceptual image that accompanies these lines and that would correspond to a potential project. Romain commented that the image represents how he imagines the characters "a few years later".

The original anime was a co-production between the Japanese studio Hal Film Maker, the Japanese also Pumpkin3D and the French Sav! The World Productions, having premiered in 2006
