The anime Sanrio Boys shows a new promotional image and their character designs

The official website of the anime will adapt the project Sanrio Danshi of Sanrio has shown a new promotional image of the series and the designs of their protagonists. The series will be released in January 2018.

Masashi Kudou will be the director of the series under Studio Pierrot, with scripts by Takashi Aoshima, and the character designs of Atsuko Nakajima. The music is composed Junpei Fujita.

The deal announced time, from left to right in the image, is: 
Jun Oosuka as Shunsuke Yoshino, Hello Kitty fan 
Soma Saito as Yu Mizuno, fan of My Melody 
Takuya Eguchi as Kota Hasegawa, a fan of Pom Pom Purin 
Hiroyuki Kagura as Ryo Nishimiya, fan of Little Twin Stars 
Yuma Uchida as Seiichiro Minamoto, a fan of Cinnamoroll 


The project is led by Kota Hasegawa, a high school kid that loves the dog, Pom Pom Purin from Sanrio. By chance, just know in your institute to Yu Mizuno, another guy that is a fan of a mascot of Sanrio, in this case of the rabbit My Melody. Yu tells Kota that it doesn't have to be ashamed that you like the funny characters of Sanrio. Together, the characters iran by accepting his love for pets of Sanrio and embrace your fans instead of hiding it in shame.


The project was launched in January of last year, launching in April a line of merchandising, and drawing Mai Ando two sleeves are different, one in the application MangaOne and another in the journal ShoComi.
