New details of the AI game are revealed: The Somnium Files

 Spike Chunsoft has published new information and screenshots of AI: The Somnium Files that presents the Somnium Parts of the game and the characters that make up the ABIS unit of the Metropolitan Police Department.
Parts of Somnium
The player assumes the role of detective in a special section of the police department, which deals with the case of a mysterious serial killer. While it goes back and forth between the research points that are established in the real world, and the Somnium Parties that are located in the worlds of the suspects' dreams, the facts behind the case will be revealed gradually. In the part of the game that takes place in the world of dreams, the objective is to find clues about the investigation in the mind of each suspect. In order to find clues, the Mental Blockades must be resolved by entering the path and sinking deeper into the subconscious of the suspect to find the truth.
Point 1. Psync device: a device that allows entering Dream Worlds
By setting the target person and the player's own character and then restarting the Psync device will allow entering the dreams of the target person.

 Point 2. Solve riddles in Somnium in six minutes
The player will only have six minutes in the dream world of the target person to solve the puzzles before his mind collapses.

 In order to save Mizuki, a girl who lost her voice due to the shock of an incident, she must enter her dreams with the Psync device.
 Point 3. Mental block
There are several mental blocks or obstacles that prevent the target person from remembering the details necessary for the investigation; all mental blocks must be resolved to obtain the clues.

 During the Somnium Parties one must examine objects and then choose an action for that object. However, each election takes a certain amount of time, so decisions must be carefully chosen to achieve the goal within the six-minute time limit.

 Point 4. Multiple endings determined by route.
The story of AI: The Somnium Files has multiple endings. There are a large number of bifurcation routes, and the end of each story is completely different for each route. It is necessary to clear each route and see everything from multiple points of view you can get a complete picture of the case.

1-Kaname Date (played by Tarusuke Shingaki)
An ABIS police officer. By using the Psync device, it has the power to slip into the memories of key suspects and witnesses. Six years before the game events, he lost his left eye, and instead now has an artificial eye (AI-Ball) equipped with advanced artificial intelligence.

2-Aibo (Official name: AI-Ball) (played by Akari Kitou)
It is usually in the left eye of Date, it leaves its eye and moves through different places.

3-When Date enters the world of dreams takes the form of a girl. Being linked to the conscience and brain of Date, it acts as his avatar in that world

4-Boss (played by Yuuko Kaida)
Superior of Date and commander of ABIS. She and Date are old friends. Although she pretends to be a carefree optimist whose comments change day by day ... she is really very clever.

5-Pewder (played by Hiroki Gotou)
An ABIS mechanical engineer handles the control and regulations for the Psync device. As Pewter is the creator of Aibo, his personality reflects his own tastes.
