Kadokawa Magazine, Monthly Comic Gene revealed that Mass Sazanami (Black Bard, Magic the Ninth) draw manga adaptation of the anime Keishicho Tokushu Kyōaku Tokumu-bu-han Taisaku-Shitsus Dai-Nana-ka -Tokunana-. Nanae Chrono (Peace Maker, Peacemaker Kurogane) is credited with the original design of the characters. The manga, titled Tokunana File 0, will debut at the June issue of the magazine on May 15. The first chapter of the manga will have a color cover.
Sazanami's manga takes place a few years before the anime. The main manga adaptation will also have a release in the Mag Garden magazine, Monthly Comic Garden.
Staff
Harume Kosaka (technical director of Sailor Moon) is directing the anime with the head of direction Takayuki Kuriyama (Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion).
Yuichiro Higashide (Fate / Apocrypha) is in charge of the script of the series.
Hiroya Iijima (Mazinger Z: Infinity) is adapting Chrono's original character design for animation.
Synopsis
Located in a different Tokyo in a different world from ours, the anime story follows Tokunana, a unit of misfits gathered in the Metropolitan Police Department. Tokunana fights against "Nine," an organization that commits crimes for its worship of the dragons that once roamed the world.
