Special episode Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2: Djeeta-hen revealed a promotional video

A new promotional video was released for the special episode Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2: Djeeta-hen, which will be part of the Granblue Fantasy The Animation anime. 

Season 2. The episode will premiere on March 27
The first season of the anime also included an episode not broadcast on its seventh DVD release, in which Djeeta was featured as the main character. Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2 premiered on October 4 and had a total of 14 episodes.

Yui Umemoto is in charge of directing the anime at MAPPA studios, replacing Ayako Kurata and Yuuki Itoh at A-1 Pictures studios. Kiyoko Yoshimura is in charge of writing the scripts. Fumihide Sai is in charge of character design. Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki returned for music composition.


The first season of the anime, based on the Cygames mobile gaming franchise, Granblue Fantasy The Animation premiered in Japan in April 2017 and featured 13 episodes.

Synopsis
The boy, who gazed up at the skies pointing towards the Isle of Stars, linked his destiny and his life with the mysterious blue-haired girl who fell from the sky. What they found during their trip were companions they could trust and, later, an aircraft that was heading to their destination.

The two have now deepened their ties and are coming of age as they continue to evade the Empire's pursuits and encounter the Primitive Beasts. However, their way back to the Isle of Stars is barely halfway, both and their new companions will continue their journey.
