 Chapter 1: Genius and X are two sides of the coin
Nariyuki Yuiga, a junior high school student, who seeks to get the VIP recommendation from the school to enter the university. He is called to the principal's office. The director is willing to give him the recommendation, however, there is a condition, Nariyuki must get the two geniuses of the school, Fumino Furuhashi and Rizu Ogata, enter the university they want. Now playing the role of tutor, Nariyuki asks them what is what they want to study, to their surprise, neither of them wants to study the matter in which they are considered geniuses. And, to top it all, they are extremely bad in the subject they want. Nariyuki works with them for a week, doing exams every day, and even though they get a better grade in each one, it's still extremely bad. After seeing how much they are both trying to continue with this subject, Nariyuki gives them a notebook to each one, with notes helping them with the problems they had had.

 Opinion: History
Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, it is a manga that, although I read it, I can not say that I am going with this one. I do not remember in what chapter I stayed, so I'll make the minimum possible comparisons of the anime with its original source. I'll try to catch up on manga.
First of all, this, like Gotoubun no Hanayome, has as its protagonist a boy who from one day to the next became the tutor. And although the story at first glance looks similar, there are some things that I feel give it a more striking story than that of the Nakano quintuplets.
This time, the "heroines" (technically they are not yet) really want to study. Each has its own reason why they want to do it. It does not matter if you are not good at it, you will not give up. Without caring about the opinion of others, they have their goal and want to reach it.

 In more than a thousand animes I've seen, the Harem genre is one of my favorites, maybe it's my favorite. So, where there is a story with this genre, I will be there.
Characters
I will only mention those who appear more than 5 seconds in this episode, and who are also relevant in the plot. Basically, to the protagonists who were in more than one scene.
Starting with Nariyuki Yuiga, a boy who is in a difficult economic situation. With a somewhat common personality. He is not arrogant, nor lonely, nor is he the smartest at school. However, it has that neutral touch between not giving importance to women and being a complete don Juan. To confess that I like a little, while I have the odd thought similar to him.

 Fumino Furuhashi, also known as the "Sleeping Beauty Literary". A girl with a typical appearance of the ideal woman in the anime, known as Yamato Nadeshiko. And with a personality that is completely that of a maiden, it is quite close to that personification. Even though I do not have a perfect body.
Personally, physical appearance is not the first thing I set to decide if a female character likes me or not. It is his personality. Although it is not my favorite, if I have it in high esteem..

 Rizu Ogata, known as the "Mechanical Thumbelina" (or Scientific). With just 143 cm in height, but with a very developed body. The first impression I have of her regarding her personality is that it is very closed. He wants to achieve his goal, so he will follow the most rational and calculated path of all. But, in turn, this is what makes you stumble along the way.
I must say that I felt very represented by her, not because I wanted to study humanities, but because I also play only games that are for more than one player.

 My favorite female character has not appeared, so I will not talk about him. As well as those who were not in more than one scene.
Animation
The studies that give animation to this series are ones that we can literally say are new to the industry, Silver and Arvo Animation. This being the first big project of both. Technically for Arvo Animation it's his second job, but the first was a simple ONA, so this is his first series.
It may be new, but there is something I am sure of, they will have a future if they continue with this animation. Personally I think it's a very, very, very good animation. The design of the characters I loved, is completely the same as its appearance in what I remember of the manga. In addition, they kept the expressions that give comic touches to the scenes. We should still see the behavior and fluency of scenes where there is a lot of movement. But, if it is the same as the one used in the opening, there will be no doubt that it will be a great success.

 Speaking of the animation in the opening, I must confess that I loved the opening theme. I noticed some details that impressed me enough to be new studies. The movement of water, of the characters, details of focus, quality of scenarios, lighting. I definitely loved it, officially it's my favorite opening of this season, as far as animation is concerned. Likewise, the ending is pretty good. With the characters in a chibi form, but they maintain their main essence, although they do not have a lot of different colors most of the time. It's simple, but very good.

 Of course there are some mistakes, but they are extremely few and also small, so they are not even worth mentioning.
Sound
I do not have a single complaint of the background music, in fact, I appreciate that they have known where and when to use it in the scenes, making it emphasize the main feeling that should be in it. As for the sound effects and the work of the seiyuus, I can only say that it is perfect. I noticed quite the sound effects, from some that were strong and obvious due to the circumstance, even those that gave more depth to the scene, like the song of the birds, the difference of sound when walking in different areas, etc.
While the seiyuus simply did a perfect job. They managed to completely show the character, with voices that I honestly had imagined would have most of these. Of course I must confess that I feel that Fumino's voice still feels a bit strange. This because I imagined it with another tone. This feels more acute than I expected, but it is not bad at all. By the way, I loved that detail that her voice is becoming more and more acute, while she shrinks.
The opening and ending I liked both songs. However, I'm not sure why, but I liked the song "Nevere Give it up !!" of the ending, that the song "Seishun Seminar (セ イ シ ュ ン ゼ ミ ナ ー ル)" of the opening. The difference is minimal, but it remains. Even so, I have in general more esteem of the opening than of the ending, although to both I position them as the best of the season, for the moment.

In the next chapter I can see if they continue with the animation, in addition to seeing the fluidity of the movement of characters, and hopefully, I will see the female character that I like most in this anime.
