Adaptation to manga by Koyori Noguchi Sakura Wars V

The official site for the anime adaptation of the game Shin Sakura Taisen, to be titled Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation, posted the second promotional video for the project. The video shows excerpts from the opening and closing theme.

Las actrices de voz Ayane Sakura, Maaya Uchida, Hibiku Yamamura, Ayaka Fukuhara y Saori Hayami intepretan el tema de apertura titulado “Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan – Shinshou”.
The same voice actresses, with the addition of Nana Mizuki, Manami Numakura and Sumire Uesaka, interpret the closing theme entitled "Sakura Yumemishi".

The anime will premiere on April 3 through the Tokyo MX channel. For its part, the game Shin Sakura Taisen was released in Japan on December 12, and in North America in spring 2020 for the PlayStation 4 console.

A manga adaptation by Koyori Noguchi has also been published in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine since September 12.

Synopsis
The story takes place in year 29 of the fictional Taisho period of the franchise in the capital Tokyo, 12 years after the events of Sakura Wars V.

The protagonist is Seijuro Kamiyama and the story will follow as the commander of the Empire's New Combat Force.
