The author of seinen manga sleeves of horror and drama, Nokuto Koike, launched a new manga titled Gajū (Hungry Beast) in the Comic Days application of the Kodansha publishing house. The first chapter is available on the Comic Days website and a new chapter will be published each week.
The manga focuses on the protagonist who encounters a mysterious beast when he is traveling on the subway, which causes great commotion and panic among people.
Koike paid a tribute to the manga for the live action movie of Ghost in the Shell by Dreamworks and Paramount in February 2017. He has also collaborated as an artist with Ryukishi07 in manga Hotaru-Bi no Tomoru Koro ni, manga released in Futabasha Monthly Action Magazine in 2016 and ended in 2018. Nokuto has worked on the 6000 horror manga: Rokusen, which was launched in the Comic Birz magazine of Gentosha in 2010 and ended in 2012. He also worked in the manga Mitsu no Shima .
