Sony Music Japan announced through a press release that the guitarist of the band Hitorie and music producer of Vocaloid, Wowaka passed away on April 5 due to acute heart failure, at the age of 31 A private funeral was held recently , and only included relatives and close friends of the deceased. Additionally, the band Hitorie announced that the national tour would be canceled until further notice.

Legacy
Wowaka (also known as Genjitsu Touhi-P) served as a music producer for Vocaloid, producing a total of eleven songs, of which seven were rated for the Hall of Fame and four formed part of Vocaloid's legendary Songs list (those that reach more than one million visits on the Nico Nico Douga platform), which are:

World's End Dancehall performed by Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka and officially re-released on YouTube in September 2017.
Ura-Omote Lovers interpreted by Hatsune Miku and published in August 2009.
Rolling Girl played by Hatsune Miku and published in February 2010.
Unhappy Refrain performed by Hatsune Miku and published May 2011.
In conjunction with Hachi and Doriko, Wowaka was one of the producers who managed to have more than ten songs in the Hall of Fame of the Nicovideo platform.
