The light novels of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari surpass the 6 million copies sold

Through a video narrated by the characters of Filo (played by Rina Hidaka) and Melty (Performed by Maaya Uchida), it was announced that the light novels of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari franchise, which are written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Minami Seira, managed to surpass the 6 million copies sold. In the same video the volume number 13 of the manga of the franchise is promoted which will go on sale on April 23. This announcement was published on the official Youtube channel of KADOKAWAanime.

The light novels of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari have had great commercial success since their adaptation to the anime premiered last January. In February it was announced that the franchise had already sold a total of 4 million copies.

The animated adaptation of the light novel by Aneko Yusagi premiered on Japanese television on January 9 with a first episode of 45 minutes. Kinema Citrus is behind the animated adaptation of the series of light novels by Yusagi Aneko. Takao Abo (Norn9) directs this animated series with a screenplay by Keigo Koyanagi (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars). Masahiro Suwa, director of animation at Hitsugi no Chaika, is in charge of adapting the character designs of Minami Seira to the anime. Kevin Penkin is credited as the author of the musical composition.

The anime of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari adapts the light fantasy novel of the same title that Yusagi Aneko writes and Seira Minami since 2012. The Kadokawa publishing house publishes this work under the seal of MF Bunko, from which they have been released in Japan 19 volumes It also has an adaptation to the manga by Kyu Aiya that has been serialized since 2014 in the Comic Flapper magazine of Media Factory, of which there are already 12 compilation volumes.
