The anime Gal-gaku .: Hijiri Girls Square Gakuin revealed a new visual

The official site for the anime based on idol group Girls Square, titled Gal-gaku .: Hijiri Girls Square Gakuin revealed a promotional image. The series will premiere on April 6.

The Girls² group is made up of members of the cast of the television program Girls x Heroine Series, which premiered in 2019. Additionally, a manga adaptation will debut in the May issue of Ciao magazine by Shogakukan, on April 3.

Norihito Takahashi is in charge of directing the anime at OLM and WIT STUDIO, under the supervision of Hiroaki Akagi.

Synopsis
The story centers on the Holy Girls Square Academy, an elite institution that trains professional idols. This anime will focus on the girl group “Girls²”, who will seek to participate in the academy's annual event, “Girls' Arena”.
